Didn't understand your comment....??

You said " now it is recording too.............Is that means Tata Sky + Don't recording facility earlier. ........get your facts right

I meant twice its previous recording capacity by the software upgrade.

I've started noticing really bad pixellation too. And the video often jumps back several minutes when I press the rewind button while playing. It makes me angry that they sold the product promising DVD quality viewing and then compromised on quality and stability for the sake of a stupid marketing gimmick. The least they could do was to give us an option to keep 45 hours recording and preserve quality. I'll seriously consider switching cable service providers once the STB conks off. :@

Tata Sky+ with component out gives good picture clarity not affecting clarity in picture viewing. Its software update does not recurr problems.

What?

The pixellation occuring after the "90 hour" update is well documented.

Does that mean during the 45 hours recording you were not facing the problem because many say that it always had 90hr recording capacity and have recently updated it.

I don't think it happened then. I recently recorded a show and a few frames where there was a lot going on (many colours, quick camera movement) were seriously distorted, which could be the result of using a stronger compression algorithm. I don't care about a few distorted frames but I have a real problem with the rewind button not working as it's intended to and making the video jump a few minutes back; that's completely unprofessional and should have been fixed immediately. As things stand there's no word about any upcoming updates and calling the helpline will just raise my blood pressure as you can imagine the kind of moronic "solutions" I would get.

Well if you don't intend getting solutions than how do you expect your problem to be solved. It may not be a universal case as all may not be facing similar issue and it may be a particular problem with the STB.

By dumping their asses when the time is right, didn't you read my previous posts? ;)
