OneDrive upload speed limited to 5mbps on Airtel

Update : to anyone who has slow upload speeds.

I just tried to upload 160mb file via samsung internet browser and got full 23 to 34Mbps speeds compared to one drive drive android app which gives me a locked upload speed of 4.2Mbps

Although the browsing speed of photos is same on both one drive aop and browser

Same happens with google drive. Gdrive app limits the bandwidth but google drive web & Google photos app doesn't.

@mikrotik Can you share your transfer speeds?

@DloadfCUkr If you want to add more storage in addition to 1 TB you have to pay Rs. 749 per month for 1 TB.

I tested onedrive and SharePoint through onedrive windows app. When trying to upload multiple files, the speed went upto 900mbps and got average speed of 533mbps. I had uploaded 8GB of data in 2 mins which was spread across 7 files.

Oh boy. I wouldn’t rely on mobile apps to give me a good experience in terms of transfer rates.

So I uploaded a 6.4 gb file using my laptop, and it took about 10 minutes 19 seconds on a 200 mbps connection.

The upload speed touched 23.3 Megabytes per second (186 mbps), but it wasn't stable.

So, I'm on Jio 150Mbps plan.
I just uploaded a 2.9GB data sheet (bin) and the upload speeds for me ranged between 135-151Mbps, it was tested via ethernet and was stable and continuous.

@Lolita_Magnum any updates to your excitel connection disconnection status? Did they took the ONU?

@havoc Yes, had to go around places multiple times, making multiple calls and threats. Finally, 2 months ago they took back the ONU; initially, they denied the ONU citing damaged, but later on, after a conference with the Delhi team they took it back. Just received the refund last week.
