OnePlus 8T

True, battery life is a must but that Exynos chip, no 5G (not necessary at all but good to have just in case). Am going to slap another battery on my N6 and wait another month to see if something changes my mind.

Pixel has issues with touch panel.
iPhone has issue about being fragile, costly, and also iPhone 12 magnet back has some interference issue with pacemakers.
Samsung has issues with their Exynos chipset being heating on heavy usage, besides they are less VFM compared to Chinese brands.
Asus has issues with Software updates.
OnePlus is also not faster is providing updates like earlier.
Chinese brands like Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, etc has issues about adverts in their UI.
Nokia, LG, Sony, Motorola are lost in market and no assurance of after sales service.
So which mobile handset brand is perfect :ROFLMAO:

OnePlus was known to launch good mobiles with a aggressive price . Now it is quite weird that company trying to capture both the budget segment and the semi-Flagship market . They should just stick with 2 phones a year as before which are reasonably priced.

Any idea if the Pixel 5a will be launched ?. I know these companies wont do that , but it would great if Xiaomi starts shipping with stock android. They are already having good hardware specs which will pair with faster stock Google UI . The MI A series was sold like crazy

While the Mi A series sold like crazy, the issues faced by users also made them vow to never get a Stock Android from Mi.
Botched software updates and releases, bootloop you name a issue, it had it. I seriously wonder what was Xiaomi thinking giving such a torrid time to its A series users.
As @SVK said, every manufacturer has some issue or tne other. You need to make a choice based on what's a deal breaker and what's not.

On a general note, this year would also probably a bad time to get a new phone, phones are getting costlier day-by-day, the govt tax policies are not helping either. So it would be better to hold on to your old devices for a year or two to see if the prices reflect what is offered by the manufacturers. A case in point is Nokia 5.4. Costs 14k with hd+ screen. WTF was Nokia thinking!!

Yeah, the Moto G 5G seems like a reasonable device at the price point available at Flipkart. And I kind of like Moto phones, had a few over the years like EM30, Moto G 1st Gen and a very old external antenna one from the RCom era.

Can anyone comment on how good is the frequency and quality of updates from Moto? Need some good feedback especially after its takeover by Lenovo. Moto as an independent was a solid company and its products spoke for itself.

updates on moto?
