Only 256kbps on 749Nu

MTNL 256Kbps Unlimited combo
Hi all,I changed my plan from TriB 590 Nu( 256kbps ) to 749Nu with 2 Mbps speed, and when i went to Sanchar hut to gve application to change of plan, the person their said to me that the plan will cme in effect from 1st of this month and also the speed will b upgraded to 2Mbps......:)But its been 1 day since plan is changed and the speed is stucked at 256Kbps:wall:...I hve seen a Thread in this community were users reported the same problem as mine and i guess by this time there probs might have solved...WUd u guys tell me ny solution for ths??I called the CC too, but the Dumb pple their didnt knew anything.Also i have mailed to Area manager and GM of my Area........:)Ny other number which i shld call so that they change my plan to 2 Mbps one?????Plss do reply:)
 
did u see in those threads how the problem got solved, its all in there....it takes time for speed to change, keep calling 1504 regularly for speed change.
 
FInally My speed has been changed to 2 MBps

My Story goes Like this...Actually My plan got changed to 749Nu on January 1st by evening, was getting only 256Kbps at that time...do i called the customer care and they promised me that speed will b upgraded in 24 Hrs....But having read the problems of other 749Nu users in this forum i thought i must not depend just on the customer care.......SO i mailed GM and Area manager of my area and also called the customer care again the next day.....It didnt help much......

Finally i had send am Email to this ID [email protected] and the speed got changed in 2 Hrs...:yahoo:

SO if nyone else too has probs regarding speeds make sure u mail the above said Email ID and also mail to both Area and General manager of ur area...:)
 
My plan got upgraded to 749Nu today ,but speed ..yaksssMan sitting at 1504 say, I will only get 256kpbs speed ..This sucks and that person asked me to contact 1500.whereas 1504 is for technical support .WHAT THE HELL IS THIS .I'm stuck on 256kpbs .what else I can do except for those sending e-mails ?Also ,Pl tell me the email address of General Manager and Area manager East..
 
its much better if you personally visit the exchange if possible..... atleast they can't ignore you..... otherwise they always claim that everything is right on their end......
 
yes ,patience is the key.Few min back I did sent e-mailsss to GM ,AM and ths address as well [email protected] also registered a complaint with 1504 (After making 7 -8 calls )
