It's taking the long way around, that's for certain, but it appears to be completely a Tata routing issue.

My pings to Singapore have been terrible for the past 2 weeks and Airtel engineers have just been vaguely saying "We hare having some problems".

This is my original ping 2 weeks ago.

wow 5ms is awsome. I am changing my isp to reliance this month. Sick of waiting for airtel to fix this issue. they had this issue from a month and they cant figure it out as well. Reliance have terrible plans than airtel, but atlest i will get good ping in international server. Airtel was best when there was no ping issues. I am from mangalore, so airtel had some special offers at my place. I had to pay 700+ for 1mbps speed. Well the premuim connection you just talked about made my hair stand up lol. If airtel fix their ping issues further, i would jump back. I did some researh and found out reliance is good for international servers, your ping wont go more than 180 in any asian servers and Singaporean servers would be 90-100 which is great.

i got this message frm airtel few hours back. Lets hope the ping would be fixed. i will temporarily hold back my plans till 27th.
