Packet Loss and Slow Speed Problems on Airtel Broadband

well yeah. it is not a full blown problem. some sites are working great. some sites are crawling. definitely a f'ed up routing. i have tried multiple dns servers. does not seem to help at all.

same here.. browsing is simply awful!! although speedtest results are okay...

True.A couple of http downloads using IDM since the morning were normal @ around 550 Kbps but the majority are being downloaded at Dial up speeds.Tried changing DNS but no luck.Don't know if this is the knock on effect of the damage in Mumbai.

Yeah browsing is quite slow .. Speedtest though shows good result .. So surely a routing issue from Airtel .

Like others mentioned, speedtest is fine but I'm getting very crappy speeds from OVH.

Sailing in the same boat.. Horrible browsing for most sites. Sometimes i think the way we bear Airtel is like UPA government. We know it's bad, but the alternatives may be worse.Airtel goes on unashamed on the TINA factor - There is no alternative.

Broadbandforum is loading fine for me.

Also, I'm having issues only with .FR. Even connecting to a OVH server is taking ages. Routing to .NL is normal.
