Please help, Unable to connect to internet

The problem still persists, i contacted the local service guys they asked me to check WAN under the summary page, there in the PPoE status it was reading PPP server down. They told me that the problem was from there end and they'll rectify it, so far none of the service guys have turned up, i have changed my password by accessing my usage page hope this'll rectify this. Thanks for all the replies and suggestions.
 
its working now :)i checked my phone lines from bsnl support and their was something wrong ...:wall:after that i reset my password :confused: ...now its ok i can connect to internet :thumbsup: ...thanls for the help guys:Phope it will not happen again :cry::cry:
 
members/dais/ Glad to note your internet connection restored nowPlease take screenshots of existing settings in your modem for future use. and or Back up settings to harddisk
 
getting the exact same problum.. its showing error 678 ... my ppp is down as shown in summary page and consistantly im getting Test PPP server connection: FAIL Test authentication with ISP: PASS Test the assigned IP address: FAILPing default gateway: FAILPing primary Domain Name Server: PASSsame results from OAM F4 .. now can i rectify the problum myself or is it the fault from BSNL side.. do i need to call them or will they rectify it themselves???? hadnt changed any settings .. it was working fine previously. not working from yesterday
