@luckyph Just to make sure I did mac cloning correctly. I should be using the same mac address that shows up in BSNL portal right? I'm asking this cause the modem/router crap they gave has a mac address different from the one connected. But I have tried both and didn't work anyway.

I was using 3 different routers, Tenda HG9, TP-Link XC220-G3v and Combination of DBC + TP-Link Archer C80 (To be phased out gradually). Suddenly from 27 April 2023, I could only use XC220 due to mac binding for BSNL ftth in Assam. Tenda doesn't have mac spoofing, so it doesn't work in pppoe mode. Tenda/dbc in bridge + Archer C80 in pppoe mode works only when I use mac spoofing in Archer C80 and use the mac address from XC220. This is very troubling. XC220's firmware is full of bugs. Also, how to find MAC address in bsnl portal?
