Printer for home usage

Hi,

I am looking to buy a Printer for home-usage. Any suggestion considering the following points is appreciated.
The expected usage is very less. might be one or two times a month (10 pages). Sometimes, it won't even be used for months. So I am expecting something in which the ink doesn't dry. After some of my research I am looking for these features:

1. Document scanning
2. Auto duplex printing
3. Auto Paper Feeder
4. Less frequent ink change (should not dry in case of long term non-usage)

If there is any other considerable feature that I am missing, please let me know.

So @Sushubh if you have a laser printer, why do you keep printing every 10 days since lasers don't have a drying problem?

it has been lying idle for weeks even months at time since i try to use the inktank more these days. tbh, made a mistake last year buying the laser. should have bought the ink tank back then. never had any problem. though i suppose eventually something would dry up or choke. but generally speaking lasers do not suffer the same problems as injkets and inktanks.

oh i mistook your question. my cheapo ricoh laser died last year so i ended up buying the brother laser.
and then this year, HP inkjet started becoming an asshole after just two years. so ended up buying the brother inktank.

don't ask why i have two printers in this house. coz i don't have an answer. i keep the laser in the basement where my primary machine is placed. it is always handy to have a printer around here. this works well when i need to take out a lot of prints like bank and credit card statements for the it season.

and of course, i needed a colored printer for niece's purpose. so the inkjet is lying on the ground floor where anyone can access it for photocopies and prints.

Btw I have no knowledge about printers. I have used only Office printers:- Huge sizes with so many options- including cloud login, etc. Different models on every corner.

Finally bought Brother DCP-T520W. (820 was not available anywhere)

If you plan to use it for mobile printing, you might need to use mopria. I am not sure if it works directly. The Brother laser that me and @Nishant purchased doesn't work directly for some reason. Since I already had it installed, I have been using the inktank with mopria as well.

i do think that this one works directly on android without any third party app. but just a fyi.

I was able to print from my Android phone directly over wifi. It auto detected the printer.
Just printed a 4k color image on the page made for photograph printing. The colour quality is awesome. Also printed 100 pages black n white doc. The only hassle was I had to do the odd and even page printing and flip the pages manually.

So when you say you had to do it manually, you mean to say just one flip at the end of 50 pages printing, right?
