Hi all !!!I, Mahendra Soni from Jaipur (Rajasthan), am having one irritating problem since Friday evening. Actually I am a BSNL Broadband customer and I have Type-IV Modem (Huawei MT841) and my Plane is HOME 900 UL PLUS. I am unable to access internet if I set modem on auto run settings. But if I set my modem on dialer mode then I can access internet without any problem. I am using auto run settings on modem since I got broadband connection i.e. more then 3 years and never had such kind of problem. Does anyone have the same problem that I have ? Can anybody solve my problem ? Please..... please help me !!! I have two pc at my home and unable to access net on both the pcs simultaneouslyThanks in advance. Bye...Mahendra Soni

You did not get a response , even after 20 hours and 31 hits because your question is vague.
I waited for someone else to respond.
As I understand
a)your modem is set in "bridged mode"
b)and you use a dialer to connect to Internet, for the past three years.
c)and using two computers. for past three years without any problem.
d) you want it now to be "always on"
Para two :
"Auto run": are you trying now , or was it used for the past three years ?
1.Does it mean you have a program to switch on off your modem at certain times ?
2. or now you want it to be in Always on " mode ?
3. How you connect the two computers to the modem ? desktop & laptop ?
see this drawing
SmartAX MT-841 ADSL MODEM (Type-IV) CONNECTION
4. To keep the modem "always on " see this settings and select multiuser configuration.

Thanks essbebe for your reply,I solved my problem on my own. Actually, this problem was due to wrong DNS. Now everything is fine and I can use Always On setting of modem for multiuser connection and its rocking.

Congrats.
If you can post the wrong DNS and the new ones, it will help others too.
and how suddenly after three years the original DNS failed.
