I beg to differ. Yes, I have had problems with Vodafone too. However, their network is excellent in Mumbai and unbeatable.

I have had my problems sorted out by simply getting in touch with CC and if necessary, just one level up in worse case scenarios. I have Airtel & Idea connections too. But cannot get rid of those numbers. Waiting for MNP to switch onto Vodafone.

Nice to see VodafoneIndia join this forum - dont care if its a bot or an actual human - as long as they put efforts into resolving problems of Vodafone India customers.

Network of Vodafone is very good in mumbai and where as airtel is getting worse day by day .... i do have both the cards...

about customer service it was ok .. but i need to submit document for 3 times in last five year ... after every couple of years u will get there message that you need to submit the document else u r number will be disconnected ...

I was talking about Delhi.....and yes it suxs big time....its just that its less suky in some paces than other.......I was using airtel before not a single sign of Disturbance......I am gonna switch back to airtel as soon as MNP arrives as their network is much better here.....

Vodafone is really the most pathetic, irritating and tortured service provider. I've been using postpaid connection since Dec 2008. CC call u up ask for the details of the payments made. They don't keep any records. I've been following up with them for transfer of connection from Sept 2010. Till date there hasn't been any progress on it.If it wasn't for the number i would have switched to another operator. With MNP coming in a weeks time. They should pull up their socks or loose customers.Nways I dont think they care. They are just happy to be another MNC eating with our brains and our money

They should have atleast last 6 months payment records.. Talk to the nodal officer of ur circle he might be Helpful :)

i have now written to the nodal officer. hope they do something abt it. also i'm thinking to use MNP

well guys, i am diverting from topic. i also have similar problem. i had taken vodafone new connection on 31st decemb 2010 activated my blackberry plan 599 on 2nd jan 2011. 599 plan entitles me for free data usage as per cc executive. i had used internet agressivly till 3rd jan. check my unbilled amount on 4th and it had already shooted up to 1459 rs. got annoyed and called cc again. in reply i was told that u must have used data services and it has been counted in your unbilled amount. no issues it will be fortified once bill is generated. my bill has been genereated on 12 th jan 2011 and billed amount has come up to 2079 rs. made only 30 minutes of call which is anyways included in bill plan and did some blackberry surfing which is also included in blackberry plan and vodafone is throwing a bill of 2079 at my doorstep that too for 12 days. since final PDF is still not available for deep analasys, but already cc clreared saying it is all ur BB internet usage since your service has been deactivated on 6th jan on ur request and any deactivation done in the middle of bill cycle will make all ur bb data usage chargeble even wen the service was acitive. what nonsense is that? never heard of this. only thing i am aware that rental is charged for prorate basis mail already sent to nodal officer, but no reply.

walk in to their Registered office in your circle there u can get in touch wid nodal officer.

or

Give a complaint in newspaper column. complaints column might be there in leading newspapers.. right? they might be responding looking at that...

Vodafone guys finally called me up yesterday after sending mails to their CC as well as their nodal officer. But there's still no reply from the nodal officer. The reason stated by them for delay in transferring the connection is that the documents were being pushed back and forth from the vodafone store to the back end office. Now they assured me that the process will be completed by monday(i.e 3 working days) I suppose they forgot that they don't work on Saturdays and Sundays.Anyways I've stopped believing these guys. Next time they call up to give that status report I'd rather state them to drop my request

Actually dude u cant directly complaint to nodal officer. if u approach him for the first time he'l not even be a bit helpful. After Approaching the customer care, if they dont give u a satisfied response then u need to approach nodal with the provided complaint no in the customer care:readtherules:
