Problems with Vodafone India

Well actually these guys have realised that they can no longer offer premium services, coz these days the call rates are dropping heavily and they know very well that no one customer would stay with such high paying plans, so they too had to pull down their rates too..! So as a result, they have dropped the good customer care support they had before.Secondly, I was once speaking to a supervisor once in VF where I was telling him that VF is becoming worse each day and thats the main reason VF has more Prepaid customers. Guess what...? To this the Sup argued with me and replied that..."Sir...We have more Postpaid customers than Prepaid".....!! I guess he was doing some nice marketing on behalf of VF..! :clap:

Yeah. But that would just be a small part of the country's entire population. I guess only the business executives would take such plans.

i am betting even regular customers won't mind slightly higher prices for better and personalized services. i expect something to happen on this front when MVNO becomes legalized in india (if it still is not)... just like personal banking, i can see companies targeting small businesses and families with special plans and offers. i might be so totally wrong on this though

well, most of these companies start their business to make quick profit. Customer services are never given weightage here. Anyhow they might soon realize even customer service plays a role when mobile portability becomes a reality. That's when you see a lot of customer's moving from Vodafone to other provider's.One thing i have noted with vodafone is that they never take criticism positively. Once i told a Vodafone CC that i would shift from Vodafone to Airtel due to their crappy service and the chap became aggressive. Even the Vodafone stores are no better. The things are done very casually there. They never show eagerness to solve your problem instead would market their postpaid plans there.:madness:

oooh vodafone stores. THEY SUCK. as for customer care. i once told their guy that i was going to move to airtel. he said, even i am considering moving from vodafone to airtel because vodafone sucks. mmm. i think this was during the days of hutch and not vodafone. leasehelp:

well, Hutch was comparatively better. I would anyway choose a Hutch over Vodafone.I read there there are lot of new companies waiting in the sidelines to enter the indian market. Hope one among them at-least emphasizes on service quality so that others follow suit.Airtel's services has also detoriated off late. I remember way back in 2003 they used to have the best customer service. Now with the growing number's they are loosing those qualities..Worst part is that now Telecom companies are trying to lure the customers with the new cheap offer's rather than service quality. No wonder why Vodafone is selling good number of connections.

Well I couldnt agree more to Moto. Hutch was better than Vodafone. I am using VF ever since it was "Command". Services were so good those days. But just look at them today...!!

yes man! their HAPPY TO HELP Ad's did not work either. They did it just to fool customer's to believe that they are taking customer service seriously. Instead of spending soo much money on marketing and their ad's they should look forward to set up better customer service.These companies are fine till you have a problem. But once the problems starts you will find no way out of it. Customer care is useless for complaint resolution. They need to focus on areas like complaint resolution more. If you have gone through my threads then read the one where they could not even replace a 30Rs damaged coupon. I had to visit them 3 to 4 times but still they could not do anything. This is the case in a metro city like Delhi. So one could imagine the condition in rural areas.leasehelp:leasehelp:I was so frustrated with the experience.
