Just today I got a call from a VF agent asking me to take a second Postpaid connection. He was telling me that I would get this and that and this and that. I would have to make an initial payment of Rs.300 which they would refund me equally in the next 3 bills, which means a discount of Rs.100 for 3 months. And also my monthly rental would be Rs.199 out of which I would get 200 local mins free. 
But still I didnt trust him especially with the Rs.100 discount since they never keep up their promises. I simply went ahead and hung up the phone. 
Gosh...I am already suffering with 1 postpaid connection, they want me to take another one......!! :frown::S

most of the times schemes like these have hidden clauses which the customer representative guy conveniently forgets to reveal. i have never got my plan changed on calls like these for the same reason. i got a call from tata indicom guys about a new plan they have launched. it sounded pretty cool the way it was described. but then you never know. so well i disconnected the phone.

I think the DND service would work for all 3rd Party services / marketing calls or sms. But I guess it does not block home network related promotinal calls or sms. (Correct me if I am wrong).

^well if they send you message you can take it as proof and get to TRAI but with calls you don't have any proofs:evil: These people are so cunning.:wall:
