Well, but 1 thing i got to know - they people are still using their older dish (look at the older BIG logo on dish) - so, cheer up, you're one of the person being used to get rid of their older hardwares

Does having an older dish make any difference. You mean to say that just like the STB, older dish was also having problems.:yahoo:

I guess Reliance is distributing its Older h.w only. But they Logo is changed i agree.. but are you sure it is changed the dish/STB's too? Do you have any proof to say that the logo's are replaced with a new LOGO on dish and STB? Why cant they use the Old logo as it with their own trade mark. Because all the BIG logo's has designed in the Olderway only.. i mean for FM Radio etc....

I guess only the new things are coming with new logo.. BIG ADDA, BIG MUSIC, BIG FLIX etc..

I am not bothered about the logo at all.. all i need is the quality of AV.. which i am getting in my LCD tv.. it is enough dude..

Yeh - i know their F****** big "LOGO" has nothing to do with quality What i tried to say in my post is that they bloody people are still giving older hardwares (which we can identify by looking at older logos) Yes, (dont know about dish but it must have) I have requested and they have changed my STB and Remote few days ago (which have their newer BIG logo) and then after i never faced STB hanging issues. Remote was also slightly different (button graphics) but now this one is exactly as shown on website and newspaper adverts.For proof/pictures, you can see my older posts on this thread - work a bit hard for a while to navigate through some previous pages!:thumbsup:

Yeah you are right.. I have seen the ad too with the latest BIG TV logo printed. But does the performance of new STB good compare to the Old STB? Because i feel it is very slow while operating.. It makes me to feel SUN DIRECT is for better in terms of STB Menus and operations.Also, where you will see the details of Satellite/FEC all those details.. i tried looking this at the Settings Menu. But it does not show in details about the FEC/ Frequency, Satellite etc...

i dont know where those stuff are!!!its very irretating thing i noticed..... if u know --- while surfing internet on 1 pc, we get a pure speed - and a same line on 10 or 20 PCs, broadband speed gets divided and it gets slower!!! in big tv i noticed 1 thing - while watching it on early morning 7,8 or even till 9 - i dont see pixellations but then after ..... same channels start getting pixellite... is it something like, few people are watching in morning and many are watching at night and thus their satellite becomes weaker in signals hahahaI know, i am raising something really funny but what do i do? i am saying what i am seeing - if you dont believe, try it out....

Some Latest Updates:
I do not see pixellations in any channels - thats really good
They locked their HINDI movie channels too - thats really bad
They havent added more channels yet - thats really bad

I called up the BIG TV big CC to ask when "Colours" and other channels will be added.They picked it up after a long long delay and said a routine answer - "you will get to know when they would be added"Damn!!!!! (Was that an answer i called up and waited for so long to hear)
