Monthly charges havent been decided yet, i guess.GUYS - they still have lot many things to do. Wait for next few months. They cant launch in next 1 or 2 months. It will take more than that.
 
PROBLEMToday we had a heavy rain. TS (i have 3 of my neighbours using it) was working perfectly fine even without a single time of signal loss problem.I called up CC and he 1st said (not even asked - as if he knew very surely) - "Sir, is there rain going on at the moment? If so, there are chances of signal loss. Please, wait for half an hour or 1 hour. If it doesnt resume, please call back and i will take your complaint" - What the F.They already knew their problems/faults!!!!I expect them to resolve their issues soon or they will have tough time in future!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------I have a question for DTH users:- In normal condition, STB shows tech info:Signal Strength: 100%Quality: 95% (or something but above 80% sure)- Today when it lost signals but then after when it resumed back, STB shows tech info:Signal Strength: 100%Quality: 47% I have a question - what that "Quality" has to do with such a lesser % in this? I was not seeing any such quality issues in either video or audio quality! If i dont see any issues with quality then why its 47% and even its such a less quality, i dont see any problem in audio/video quality!!!Whats that?

I have a question for DTH users:
- In normal condition, STB shows tech info:
Signal Strength: 100%
Quality: 95% (or something but above 80% sure)

- Today when it lost signals but then after when it resumed back, STB shows tech info:
Signal Strength: 100%
Quality: 47%

I have a question - what that "Quality" has to do with such a lesser % in this? I was not seeing any such quality issues in either video or audio quality! If i dont see any issues with quality then why its 47% and even its such a less quality, i dont see any problem in audio/video quality!!!

For me it shows 100% for both during no rain while in rain it drops 100% and 85%. On our flat we hardly see any effects of rain, although in heavy rain it drops for 1 or 2 min but it can be understand it. You knows well how rain in South Gujarat.:)

Did someone come your home to audit your data? We had 5 days ago to check cables, signals, Dish and other things. May be your cable lose anywhere!

Ane ha Gujarati Call Centers ma phone ni lagavto:wall: te logo ma kai havad nathi. Hindi call centers Mumbai the operate thai che ta lagav.:thumbsup:

Havethi gujju CC ma phone nai lagaavu. kaale actually gujju CC ma lagayo to pelo rep hindi ma vato karto to... lage che, aapna gujjus raate 8 vagya pachi kaam nathi karta.. Ala aaj moto problem che Gujarati Call centers ma. Main Surat no chu.:)

I had audit check in flat where we live in Athava Gate. Also you know rain is heavy in Surat and continues almost from 1 months but we had no signal problems. Although I want to share the we don't have toll buildings near home, may be you might have. If you are not getting both numbers 100% then might lost in cables. Don't worry someone will come in next few days to check your connection.:)
 
yesterday night around 9.45 PM we have also lost signal for 5 min. in delhi, we hav receving 100% signal and 97%quality always (during rain also) you must check your dish direction with signal tester (Bigtv peoples have the same) and must fixed properly, otherwise it will disturbed during rain.

I found it interesting but i expected lot more but still what they have done is all good changes and i appreciate this time.

Changes:
[1] BIG TV logo - Yu huuuuuu.... they made it a bit smaller finally. BUT - its still not that smaller that i was thinking for them to reduce. They only reduced by 10-15% only. It is a bit smaller than Sony logo. I still wish they must either get rid of their RED square or should make that RED square at least by 80% transparant. I know, its a tough decision as its their logo after all. So if they cant do that, they must still make it smaller by 40% - Its not distracting in most of the channels but i still wish they must do something about it.

Its smaller than SONY logo. (And of course damn smaller than MUSIC INDIA Channel logo LOL)

A bigger and more away from left side. Now its a bit smaller and moved towards left and thats why its not distracting too much but still i am hoping/wishing they make it smaller or make it transparant - and if they do them both - its "cool".

[2] REMINDER - Yes, finally they added a REMINDER feature in SETTINGS option (not in a main menu)
We have to go to EPG to set a reminder. It works fine but i think they should implement this.

It shows a reminder before 5 minutes with a button "WATCH". We can either press "OK" to watch or just an arrow key to get rid of that message box.

Thats it. It doesnt popup again at the time of reminder. That means, if you wanna switch to that particular channel for which you set a reminder then you either have to switch before 5 minutes (by pressing OK button) or wait till next 5 minutes and switch to that channel manually (by remembering channel number). Why would i switch that channel by leaving my existing program for last 5 minutes and why would i switch to that channel before 5 minutes?

They should give reminder twice - before 5 minutes and exactly on that time so that we just need to press "OK" button and can watch that channel and also dont have to remember for 5 minutes after cancelling that box.

Thats all. Those are 2 visible changes i found.

DISAPPOINTMENTS:
- Logo is still not smaller as expected
- Channel list still gets slower sometimes
- Time during changing channel is still same - 2-3 seconds
- NEW CHANNELS NOT ADDED AT ALL (This is my major disappointment)
- Still STB sometimes behave in a weird way

Thats all for now. Hope they try and sort out their faults before they keep adding more features!

Anyway, something happened - Good thing. :dance:
