Exactly.. today morning, i can see bollywood movies (all channels have different movies now) but for hollywood movies - it shows "Subscribe to This Channel"

It seems that they are still updating a lot. I just wish, they give us 3 months free subscription to all these after a full-fledge launch (with all features and services)


Im not getting even the bollywood channels .. i get to see only Preview.

I can see different bollywood movies (GOAL, Speed, Its a Breaking News, 26 July at Barista) these all are going on right now. I cant see hollywood movies (it shows "You need to subscribe") - i guess, we will be able to view them back soon. They must be working hard on them. I hope they add "Colours" soon!

Yes, thats correct. Try browsing after Channel No. 160 or something. You will see channels for Kannada, Gujarati movies (i think all regional movies have been alloted 2 channels).

BUT - are you really passionate about watching regional movies? I dont watch Gujarati movies. I generally watch bollywood/hollywood movies but this is a good move as people living in villages are still like to watch such movies.

Anyway, after all its BIG TV. They are targetting everyone. They are trying to cover each HOME and EVERYONE in that home. Kids, Youth, Family and Villagers too. EVERYONE.

They MUST have a plan on their desk. What to target, when? whom? why? where?

Their goal is simple - each home should have at least 2 TVs (or more is better for them) and they all should have BIG TV connections. Wait for 2-3 years and that would be a scenario in indian homes.

Do we need 2 Gujarati movie channels? No!

May be some testing going on and channel will turn into real channel:dance:

The guy who came for installation said, Big TV currently has more installation in villages than in city, in villages located near to city, each home has Big TV, they all took under PCO scheme. He was mad from running village to village:)

The form for BIG TV also has a mini survey like No. on TVs in home, No. of PC, Internet connection, Vehicles, Income etc etc ..
 
This is just crazy. (i have seen such people who call a customer care and call a rep as "sir") LOL :) dont know what to call such villagers - idiots or "bhola" (very kind).Anyway, hope we get a good quality as well. Today morning i saw an excellent quality again but i lost signals for almost an hour and then when it restarted i again experienced a pixellation issue. I hate it. I hate to see pixellite quality. It just doesnt give a pleasure to watch DTH. They guys are adding something more and messing up existing/past stuff.

i dont see anything wrong in that...he is there to help u..u r getting some some services from him..respect shud b mutual bro....go ez on villagers please..good percentage of revenue will b from them..
 
I know.You're thinking as being a part of a company (or may be an owner) and i am thinking as a consumer.We as a consumer want everything worth we pay to a company.On a same note, i always used to argue with my internet company."If you commit for UNLIMITED INTERNET plan that means 24 hours everyday - if you breakdown in between, thats a breaking of your commitment of UNLIMITED INTERNET then why are you asking us to pay full? Give us a refund for a period of time you didnt supply a bandwidth"Anyway, thats a different issue but just giving an example of companies giving commitment and what consumer is finally getting for what we have paid.If we pay Rs. 325 for full services and features then WE MUST GET THEM. Everything has to be perfect. STB must not hang, we must get all the channels, we must get a better (instant) service for any problem we report to CC - bottom line - we must get for what we have paid.Not a matter of villagers or urban public. Its a matter of "fight for your rights". We guys know what is happening. If i am watching a TV and if it suddenly stops and if a rep is asking me to check whether a power cable is attached or not - then it is a stupidity. I am saying this as it happened once. I instantly stopped him and said "hey, i was watching i lost signals - power cable has nothing to do with it. STB has a RED light ON". Other people who doesnt have much tech knowledge or doesnt know basics will be surely kept on line for few more minutes and they just try to show that its basically always customers' mistake for what a problem is occuring.Anyway, i just hope they go well with everything!!!!!!

Dishtv:

After going thru all IVR, entered for 'dishtv customer', 'vc number', finally reaches to CSR. Same story has to be told with there too.. Including email address and phone number eventhough they have it..

Finally, CSR: "What is your problem?"
Me :"Channels are not coming!"
CSR : "Are you a Dishtv customer?"
I disconnected the phone without saying a word.
(if he was near to my reach, i would have been in jail by this time)

BSNL BB:

CSR : "So, what is your issue"
ME: "Password failure"
CSR: "Get a ball pointed pen"
ME : "why, if you want me to write down, i have notepad open in my laptop, go ahead"
CSR: " i told you to take a pen. Do that"
ME : "Yes, i have pen with me" (eventhough i didnt)
CSR: "Turn the router and press the reset with the pen"
ME: "Reset button is not there in this model"
CSR: "Who told there is no Reset? Dont teach me"
ME: "If you dont know, have to teach you"
CSR: "Hold on"
after 3 minutes
CSR : "Yep. That model doesnt have reset button. Go to the nearest Customer service center tomorrow or your local exchange, we cant help further"

ME : "Thank you for your valuable support, I am greatful to your help in this regard and kind enough for talking 20 minutes"


So, these are the customer care people you face in here.. I dont think BigTV going to be any better !!

(what can be a strong reason that i shall tell to CC or local big tv people to replace my existing STB and remote?)
