Reliance Big TV DTH Connection / Brochure Pictures Attached

U r absolutely right designgraphics, this is the major issues in India.
I know the nature of reliance peoples, they will never support customer properly, I had already suffered in reliance mobile and reliance data card (every month I have received a bill of Rs.750/- without using and they are not in a mood to terminate the connection after my repeated request, as per them keep in mind “conditions apply”). Instead of that I have again purchased a reliance product “BIGTV” this is due to my “nadani” “bewakoofi” “bachpana” ……………… whatever you say like.
Today is the 4th Day without watching TV due to BIG TV, no response yet. I think this time they are testing my controlling power.

@nairsri May be!!! in your last birth, you might have refused to give a loan to his father "Dheerubhai" :rofl:and so as now his son is taking a revenge with you :hysterical:Anyway, we can expect them to be better service provider or at last they will be losers in long term.I guess, in providing service "TATA" is better than "Reliance". (I have a TATA VSNL internet. Now TATA has bought it entirely, VSNL is out and thus as its a private firm now i am getting 90% better service than before!!!)No experience with any previous DTH but my BIG TV is working perfectly fine (No problem in anything so far). Lets see how it goes ahead when i start recharging (Still using free offer connection so no idea about payment part yet)Hopefully, it goes well.....:ashamed:

i think my earlier thread was seen by Anil Ambani (or "aatma" or Dheeru Bhai). after a long followups i got a new STB with new logo printed (same as shown in TV screen) and also reliance name marked every side and big mark above the STB also mentiond in the label "checked OK". its from the new lot (May 2008). old one was from previous lot (March 2008 - diffected). Now its working properly, no long waiting for chainging channels and surprise!!!!! "Game" is also working, hope it will work same for future. They have bring another STB also (STB-2). its have a very good looking just half in size of STB-1, but its have a problem, while standby mode its video is working and only audio was turnoff.

well at least most of your issues are resolved, you should be happy, what difference does it make if in standby mode video works, as long as your tv is switched off, it shouldn't make a difference,

:thumb:If in standby also video is coming, means STB is having technical fault. In standby all operations of signal reception, Audio/Video decoding stops & STB intakes less power. But if video (for some channel) is working then STB is taking power and this means no use of standby mode

Thats unbelievable!!! Even STB 2.0 has a problem!!!Damn - what these guys are doing! Is this a way Anil Ambani becomes wealthy! Amazing - Then its just a luck and no hard/smart work :rofl:

it may be reliable but will certainly take some time to launch, currently they have lot of issues with Dth itself first they need to resolve the same :thumb:

The news is too old, see the date, also mentioning Reliance DTH as bluemagic now come out with the name of BIGTV.

now my STB is working properly and no problem facing since its replaced.

2 big tv technical persons come to home yesterday and check the all things like signal strength with meter, installation, input / output power etc.. as per them there is no updation for further 20 days., now they are working on problems facing by the customer and also checking the software issues. afterthat it will come with lot of new things.
