The color makes the confusion here. The LOGO of BIG and Airtel both has RED color with in the opposite direction. (BIG TV - RED and white) where (Airtel - White and RED).. so our assumption leads that it may be BIG TV or Airtel or the combination of both. Let us wait and watch.. 9th not so far.

Boss we are not kids - we can easily recognize BIG TV and Airtel logo even if it flashes on/off for 1 second.What i have seen is exactly what i am saying -"A red sofa coach in black background and texts written as - See you at home - underneath they show BIG TV logo alongwith Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group written under a BIG TV logo" I guess, they are ready with BIG dhamaka on Dusherra (9 Oct) - Following are possibilities in priority orders:- Merger with Bharti (only for DTH services)- More channels, more facilities, less price, free STB and Installation offer- Nothing fancy - just another advert - Abhishek will sit and ask consumers to buy Those are the 3 possibilities i can think of right now. If anything more than that happens; then it would be a BIG bonanza (something like - pay for 6 months and view for 12 etc etc..)Let's wait and watch -

Recently the Canadian PM delivered a speech which was a 100% copy of the speech given by the Australian PM a week earlier. His speech writer acknowledged that he had lifted the speech verbatim and resigned. It is possible the copy writer for both ads is same. I remember a scandal about 15 years ago when both Hindustan lever and Colgate Palmolive had appointed the same advertising company for promoting their toothpastes.

Today we have an article in TOI says Reliance has copied Airtel's advert to take an advantage of the hype they have created before launch. Very cheap tactics (similar to cola war).

Hey Guys,
I subscribed for a BIG TV connection today. That guy took me into a PCO Offer.
I paid 2100 which includes 3 months subscription. I went to their office to see a demo. I already saw it but i went there just to see it again and to browse through all the channels. EXCELLENT RESULT.
There, they have a calculation on a white board. (That is may be a \"would be\" regular market price)
Rs. 1500 STB
Rs. 1000 Installation
Rs. 750 (250 x 3 months)

Benefit of Rs. 1000 (They are offering PCO offer at 2250 Rs. - but he charged me only Rs. 2100).

Today we have 4-5 small small advertisements from BIG TV in TOI.
Doesnt make any sense of just advertising all the time and not implementing what has been advertised.
- Still we have 187 channels (Not more than 200 as advertised)
- Still quick menu becomes slower sometimes
- Still EPG doesnt show up sometimes (Not same as advertised all the time)
- BIG Cinema is always showing duplicate movies throughout a week!
- BIG Logo is still irritating (and i dont think they are in any mood to make it smaller)
- Lot many improvements needed....
Today is 9 Oct - Nothing has happened yet and shall we expect the changes now? (Are their crappy employees really working today on Dusshera?)
Top 10 List - NOT done yet
Smart Search - NOT done yet
24 x 7 Customer Support (Is it really worth have? Do we really need it just to hear same canned answers?)
Over 200 Channels - NOT done yet
Interactive - Games, News, Sport - NOT done yet (Only games are there but all kiddish)
Digital DVD quality picture - they may call "pixellite/pixellation" picture as digital

These many and lot others implementations needed but instead of bothering "what has been left"; they are always busy doing marketing, announcements and copying others' ideas.

Yesterday my subscription got over for 3 months free i got initially. On a same day (its a late) i received a letter saying "renew your subscription" alongwith dealer addresses and package details. They are very appropriate in sending renewal details but not so punctual in adding more channels and replying while talking to CC - funny.. They also sent SMS for the same. Unbelievable - Itna expenses 2-3 high end tech staff me karte ho to accha result mile!Anyway, i will recharge now and hope it goes well for few months!

well my subscription got over on 8th exactly at 12am,and message was shown on the tv "please subscribe the channels,if u a have already subscribed sorry for the inconvinence ,call the customer care".so called the CC they said the problem will be sorted in 24hrs which it was and was able to see all the channels,yesterday got a SMS message saying u need to recharge ur account called the CC and they said my subscription will get over on 18th and the CC also said i have approx Rs900 and change left in my account and that i can choose the normal package in my case south starter with movie plus top up packs.so will have to call them and say them my package.
but Designweb are u able to view the channels?
