They added new channels today -

Star Cricket HD - 512
Movies Now HD - 365

All the channels above are correct except 365.There is no 'movies now' there.It only shows test 1

SAD NEWS (with little hope of good thing to happen)::::Friends, the sad news is that STB2 will not be upgraded until 1st week of April 2011. Let me tell you in details.Our efforts got some success of at least somebody from very higher authority called me yesterday evening from this number: +91.22.30326200I got very aggressive and he agreed to everything what we have been doubting and disscussing here.He said that we are sorry that you people are suffering because of UEC STB but while upgrading (he said something) got corrupted and we tried again but couldnt resolve issue on STB2. Our team is still after that issue and we promise it will be upgraded soon. We are receiving lots of complaints everyday regarding UEC STB.I asked very aggressively to give time frame and he finally said anytime but at least not before 1st week of april.As i was very angry, he said i am keeping your issue on-hold and will surely return back with some solution soon.--------Friends, he said that they are receiving tons of complaints everyday and i am sure many of them from us as well. (thats why i got a call too). Lets keep doing it even till April 1st week. I said that to him as well. We will keep emailing you and bugging you until you sort this out and its better you do ASAP or else be ready to keep receiving tons and tons of mails everyday.Guys, thats a way to fight with them. Keep it doing.Anybody, who wants proof; can call on that number and i am sure it will ring to RDTV people. (i havent tried yet but will do tomorrow if i wont receive a call back as promised).I will keep you posted as and how it goes ahead with me.

Hello Friends,
Finally my efforts got me a good result, i am going to give you a great news that my STB2 has been replaced (for FREE) with a hyundai STB3 today.
Following are proof and pictures taken (you can see Star Cricket is today's NZ v/s PAK match).

I must tell you not just picture quality but AUDIO clarity is superior than STB2. After hearing voice on STB3, what i was getting on STB2 was just a sort of 1970 radio station voice!!! I was keeping my voice on 40 or 50 and i could hear properly but on this new STB3; at the level of just 5 or 6, it is damn powerful voice that i am getting out from that. WOW experience NOW.
I am so happy and so much satisfied with RELIANCE that finally they got in action and gave me a solution without charging me any money even though my warranty expired 2 years ago.

Anyway, logo is bigger and doesnt look good but still its better than having "BIG TV" in red. At least, i got from that big red symbol out of it. They can simply get rid of that blue background now and white font "RELIANCE" written is just good for them to go.
I dont think that menu change has become any faster for now. Its still too slow. but overall i am happy that at least they came up with something.
