Just curious. Is pinging alone enough to keep the connection alive? I have asked vedant to improve the script because in its current version it is hitting Google's public dns server way too frequently which is not supposed to be nice behavior and would be considered a DDoS attack if lots of computers start doing it.

Looks like Vedant would be forking the script. He appears to have found a better method to detect if the connection is active or not.

Ook. We have the script prepared and it works. But could not get it to work with the VBS thingy. Had to use Task Scheduler in Windows.
