I have an ADSL connection and I'm using Thunder 1099 4 Mbps.

There's this one plan : Thunder 999 which requires Metro Ethernet connection. Do check with him to get the exact plan details.

Mine was specifically an issue with them not replacing the power backup for months together, i.e. even before I got the connection. So right from Day 1 - two hours internet will not work. Kicked them out after a 15 day outage...
Plus I did not have power backup at home. So yeah, typically 4 hours daily internet will not work..

Not sure if you are planning to surrender the BSNL line, would suggest keeping it for a while or maybe downgrade it to a moderate plan so that you use one for downloads and stuff & keep the other for regular work/browsing..

@ chromaniac reliance is not reliable at all. They are ready to give thunder plans in my area. But still I hesitate to get their connection. I hope you will be one of the lucky guys who gets full speed & few disconnection issues.. Do not surrender your bsnl line for a month at least..
