Jio calls are not switching to 4g which is great. It remain on 5g network

My earlier handset had eSim for Jio.

Seems like jio is yet to update their database with s23 models

That might be probable reason. As other handsets which I know are iPhone 12 Mini and Moto Edge 30 which are launched long back.

Just now tried that. Pre-activated Jio 5G SIM is able to connect to 5G on my S23+.
And when my SIM (without 5G) was inserted into iPhone 12 Mini, it immediately got 5G Plan
