The technician today visited by house and said Mesh is useless.
They asked me to get second connection for my upper floor

That's why they are not making it easily available.
Net can be easily shared with neighbors.
I was planning to do the same with my friends family living in duplex house.

Can anyone recommend good free wifi heat mapping application for android like InSSIDer by metageek. If anyone has used one, please advise.
Need to see if I really need mesh.

Also how can I change the channel frequency of jio fiber. ( several site suggest to change to less crowded frequently, does it help?)

Tweet them, I sent a tweet and next day technician was at my home to install this.

I did numerous times, each time they give a standard template reply. And later a new technician calls up each time giving lame excuses like “you should get a TP-Link extender, jio mesh is not available in stock, there are no service slots available due to technical error” and so on. I am giving up on getting this extender and further raises doubt on the quality of customer care in jio.
How is your experience with the extender? Would be really helpful if you could post some screenshots of speed test.

@Gaurav15 yes brother tried that too. I have an airtel vdsl 40 mbps connection so no alternative of isp giving fiber connection but jio. That’s why not getting too aggressive with cc regarding this. Lol I remember threatening airtel with disconnection each time my 1tb big bytes free topup expiring and they used to give it again within no time. Jio customs care is no where near airtel’s as far as my locality is concerned making me think should I continue with airtel 40 mbps or shift to jio fiber for good.
