Does anyone know how to use JIO STB on NON JIO WIFI
Is there any way to BYpass the Above STB error?

Presently we can't use.

Same here ..... few days back i got a new router and today I checked ... STB is disabled

here is my setup Jio Gateway (with DMZ) >> EdgeRouter X >> AP

exploring the options in my edgerouter for a work around.

I seen on some post. changing some settings for connected router will work.
No problem when you are using jio broadband

Higher speed than 100 mbps is only useful when downloading massive files or streaming on 3-4 screens simultaneously all very high quality. 100mbps is totally enough for an average household. Previously a lot of us used to get high plans for high FUP, but Jio has actually kinda killed the demand for higher plans with their new plans. Everyone gets same FUP.

Today I got this error when connected to Jio network. Connected to the 2.4GHz band instead and then it worked

maybe it has got something to do with ipv6,
since I have installed Edgerouter STB has stopped working and may be its got something to do with improper ipv6 DHCP settings

correct me if I am wrong as I am not expert in networking.

@adityaduggal why don't you setup a separate vlan for the STB. Then setup the Jio modem to be the gateway for this vlan.

I am assuming you are using the multiwan feature in pfSense.

You can use JIO TV on any network for watching TV Channels but not JIO STB that will work only with JIO Fiber
