Rumored Reliance Jio Fiber Broadband Plans

Jio has very poor routing (both Indian and Outside Indian Servers).

Speed is not always full 100 Mbps.

I am from Delhi and currently having Excitel connection. Have applied for the Jio fiber connection which will be installed in few days.

After reading few reviews , I am not sure if I made right decision or not.

Can someone who is using it Jio connection help me with following:

1) some says Jio restrict some sites/applications. But isn't site ban as per government regulation which is applicable to all ISP in India? Is jio blocking some extra sites as well?

2) I am not into gaming. I do online streaming, downloads etc, is speed good with it?

3) I have read about some privacy issues. Can someone please explain how is it more dangerous with Jio then let say with Excitel or any other broadband provider in India?

4) Does jio have any peering arrangement with sites like youtube, Amazon etc.

I don't own it but my friends who have used it recommend Airtel FTTH over Jio. Things are improving with every day passing and it would take a year or two for Jio to make it refined. I have no clue how would be the service post 3 months when the flood gates open for mass public.

Today I got jio fiber connection. However Amazon shopping application and prime video is not working. Any one know else facing this issue or know how to resolve.

As per CC has blocked some sites as per govt regulation and as per agent amazon is also part of it. Agent further said other customers have also complained that amazon, flipkart etc not opening on jio fiber and will inform supervisor and get back!!

Don't know what is wrong with jio..

Mota Bhai, is next level. Blocked Amazon and Flipkart long before the launch of his own platform.

Jio Fiber seems to be a lot messed up.

Share some speed test (via ethernet) though.

Will check on Ethernet. On wi-fi speed is around 85 to 92 Mbps.

Since I live in duplex, speed I get with mi extender on upper rooms is just 8 to 10 Mbps.

Jio engineer and CC saud they can provide some box for rs 4200 to resolve speed issue. Any idea on it?

Update: Amazon applications are now working.
