Rumored Reliance Jio Fiber Broadband Plans

What marking/sign is this? found many on them in my area. Any sign of cable laying work by Jio.

There are purple 1-inch cables right in front of my home since few weeks. I am damn sure they are of Jio but I never got call from them. How does it work? Do I have to go to their office or call 18008969999?

Is there any reliable source of information out there where we could find which cities Jio is targeting for laying fibers and what is the estimated time of arrival of the connection?

Few months back they are laying blue coloured cable in my are I thought cool must be jio cable, turn out they were laying pipes for water connection meters.

So if i were you i would ask them what are they working on haha

In June, I noticed that the Fiber Line is being installed and I talked to the guy who was digging (fiber line was visible). He himself told me that the Jio is coming in your area. But since then I have not seen that guy or Jio's Sales Man.

There is no news that when is Jio going to come.

Most of the times, the Fibre that you guys see being laid is for the Tower expansion or upgrades. Jio is not gonna lay underground fibre in lanes with only few exceptions (Societies, developing areas) as it is not economically viable for them in this competition. At the best, the under ground fibre might come to some nearest point where they plan to install the local distribution point. In all areas, where ever the Jio cables are being laid overhead, it would take another 30-60days for the program to start.

Couple of people were laying down some orange looking cables in my lane. Upon asking they told me it's for Jio. If they are still laying down cables God knows when the connections will start.

well there's no doubt coz my neighbour home have enode B which is also of Jio and right in front of his home is a hole just like the one given above and cables inside it.
