Do you mean to say that TV service is not IPTV ? Is it going to be the same TV service offered by LCO presently ? Then it is a great let down . Hope I am wrong .
Jio should really focus on triple play service first. They want to get into gaming console and everything without rolling out their fiber service. Their 4g service is already degrading in many areas.
Broadband is more costly than mobile and people won't accept slow 'wifi' like mobile. And adding cable tv to it when people are used to pretty stable dth service.
I think this 700 was just to gauge customer reactions. (if it doesn't include iptv)

if their investment cycle is complete so I guess they will rely on lco for both cable and fiber which means unstable connection. With their current prices why lco (in metros) would even opt for jio.

their setup box would work with lco broadcast signal so no iptv may be in select areas they will provide iptv.

i hope they have a pack for us those who stream loads, i would be personally be happy with a pack that offers me 1tb of data @ 100mbps @1k or 1.2k a month.
But lets see what they announce on the 5th of September.
About the fixed line calling or the landline its great so far for making audio calls, no glitches whatsoever. Tried video but can't get it to work.
Hope the STB is free or maybe a small price towards the initial activation and the rest free just like its been so far ? or maybe a package to choose to watch what you choose as the new TRAI rules.
