I know. But I've learnt after using a Samsung device that i Hate TW. So i wont use it. Also i might not upgrade to 4.3 TW officially untill the Knox thing gets sorted out.

When flashing unofficial software on the device, the status of the system and KNOX is switched to CUSTOM while increasing a binary flash counter, which helps Samsung find out whether the device has been tampered with. However, while Chainfire’s TriangleAway app has let users switch the status back to official and reset the flash counter until now, the KNOX status is based on eFUSE – basically, once you flash custom kernels or root the Note 3, the KNOX code gets rewritten, and this constitutes hardware damage.

Ya I have heard of that knox and eFuse thing. It's like Sony where once you unlock bootloader, the DRM keys are wiped off and warranty is void forever. So Sony and Samsung are off my list for next phone purchase.I think even if Knox security is in latest leaked 4.3 firmware of Note 2, eFuse is not in it. I was able to reset the Flash counter and go stock again.Maybe Note 3 has special eFuse compatible hardware?Needs to be cleared.

That's why I'll wait till release and the some more. Let others root and then we'll see

So I have two Note 2 in the house and 1 is 10 months old and other is 3 months old both stock TW software and both updated to latest. I see difference in speeds and older one seems a bit slower than the newer one Does it mean that these phones get worn out so fast? What could be the reason?

Type in both phones:*#12580*369#And post both screenshots here. So I have two Note 2 in the house and 1 is 10 months old and other is 3 months old both stock TW software and both updated to latest. This will help identify if your old unit has the faulty emmc chip or not. The emmc chip was faulty and can die anytime. It also was in a way inferior to the newer one. Also if your IMEI starts with 3550,your phone is safe. Anyways post screenshots so we can analyze

This is new one
This is old one

And my old phone starts with 35483
I think old phone has faulty emmc chip, it's slower than new one, I can sense but not by huge huge margins

The HW Rev version of the emmc chip is MP1.300 This chip was the one that caused the emmc brickbug that borked a perfectly good phone in many cases. It affected the S3 and the Note 2. Then the newer chips came out with MP1.301 and they are fine. I guess the old chip is gonna be a but slower than normal. Also if you face even the slightest problem on the old one, do give it to the service center before warranty expires. Cause the only solution for a brickbug is a motherboard replacement. And doing that out of warranty is costly.

Did anyone tried any custom backcovers on note 2 or with sticker on the device ?ps; backcover = battery cover panel

^^ No.I am currently rocking the latest leaked 4.3 ROM MJ5 It's quite good but some bloatware like Knox Secured bootloader and chat apps are included. Hope the chat app is localised one which may not be in official Indian firmware.
