Then why have 2 chat apps? 1st is Samsung's own "ChatON" and the newly introduced "Line" ?Bloat......moar bloat!

Available at service centre is unconfirmed rumor. We will have to wait till December end I guess.Note 2 will be my last Samshit phone. I will go for Nexus based device or turn over to dark side and get an iDevice like before.

Would certainly support Apple on providing updates ...even the latest ios update is present on my fathers old iPhone 4

Does it have Siri? Apple updates for older devices are quite a big misconception. At least Google is trying to fix the bigger issue of APIs through Google Play Services. Support of new APIs is more important than visual updates.Apple intentionally disable features on older devices. That element is usually ignored.
