Battery life on any AOSP ROM isn't as good as TW. That being said this is my average.

Battery can be greatly improved via a custom kernel which I have not flashed yet.

Bugs are rare. I get a system UI crash once a month. Same for a random reboot.

Good. Try Wanam Lite ROM. It's awesome. If you're feeling adventurous, then try a AOSP based ROM.

Yes.. The last leaked firmware and the final release is the same.. Build number, time, date and all other details are the same.. When I checked for OTA updates it kept telling me I have the latest firmware installed.Just flashed the official 4.3 again.. Seeing same kind of battery drain. I guess I'm gonna have to try a full wipe and see if it improves. Everything else seems to work well.
any improvement on battery drain?

any improvement on battery drain?
There is definitely an improvement in how long the battery lasts after I reset it as a new device. But its not the same as it was on 4.1.2. On 4.1.2, my battery would last for 24 hrs or more before it hit 0%. On 4.3, it seems to last for about 16 hrs.

I will rather wait for another patch from Samsung for battery before installing this, if it doesn't arrive then will wait for kitkat. That's for wife's device Haven't decided for myself yet

I installed Dr. Ketan's hybrid V5 Note 2 with Note 3 features ROM. It's still a bit buggy but still very usable. Can't wait for V6.

Hmmm... This seems interesting.. I switched out my charging cable today. Both charging and battery life seem to have improved. I'll have to test it for a couple of days before I can confirm.

dude , i dont know how can a charging cable can improve battery life? yes note 2 has bad cable problem for charging, it gets broken very fast in 4-5 months but that only affects charging time , and not battery life/drain at all . if a phone is charged via a bad cable the issue will be slow charging like it may take upto 10 hours to complete charge , thats it
