That is one difference between Apple and samsung. The P100 is perfectly capable of running honeycomb but samsung won't upgrade it. Apple on the other hand would support iPad 1 to iOS 5 also. If they wanted they could've dropped support and said if you want iOS 5, get the iPad 2.
