Rooted and tried the following

1. CM 10
2. CM 10.1
3. MIUI - 2.12
4. MIUI India - v9
5. Viking way v4
6. Supernexus

Back to MIUI india. Fastest, smoothest rom out there. Wish the battery life was even better.

Yes MIUI seems to be good , i didnt try it on S3 , but it was the last ROM on my X10 , and it was really fast.

May be once CM 10 stable build lands for S3 , it will be better ?

Anyway how is Viking V4 ? Just when i finished flashing V3 , V4 got released . What kernel are you using ?

TBH , stock ROM + Kernel gave me better battery i guess , only thing is the bloatware.

@Naveen ... Great that you rooted bro, now spend some times in XDA..within month you will be expert and flasholic... :haha:I always prefer CM ROMs(for S2) as most of the rom developers uses CM's core.

I have been rooting and flashing for a long time on my X10 , it isnt new , but what confuses me is the int and ext memory on the phone. Also not able to mount int memory. Even you cant mount sdcard , which needs a special app to do..

Yes CM Roms are good. Last time i checked , CM 9 for S3 was around 150MB , dont know how big is CM10 , this is also one annoying thing with S3 ROMS , they are all fat (350+MB)..

When i was on X10 , CM was promised for it , but never came , hope it doesnt happen with s3 ..

Sorry Guys , IBF is giving issue to me since last few days. I am automatically getting logged off while commenting and even Tapatalk is throwing some Error.

Yes, I got my Handset Back on New Year. Actually I have to resubmit the handset as mic & speaker were not working. So, along with Main Board, Speaker Board too got replaced. But after seeing my precious handset torn up by Engineers, I have lost all respect for my handset and Samsung.

Price has come down to 30K, so even reselling my handset will be huge loss to me. I have to live by it now

If the Drop in Price continues with this rate, day are not far when Samsung Galaxy S3 will be available in the price of Galaxy Ace

i think only S3 has failed miserably in the whole galaxy series
S3 which was supposed to be the top notch thing is going south

updates and fixes will do no better

Samsung should do better , they are in highspot and fall from there will hurt more

even the 13 month old Galaxy note price dropped only 7k from the original pricing in this 15 months

but S3 has dropped 8K in 7 months , why ?? because Nokia lumia is selling well ? or people prefer iPhone 5 over S3 ??

Mainly coz of Nexus 4 arrival and possible S4 ( EXCLUSIVE: Samsung Galaxy S IV leaked press release shots? | SamMobile ) , also imo , S3 was priced on a higher side initially .

if its for S4 , then Note 1 should have dropped to 22k now after note 2 , but still its on 27k

LG isnt a big player in mobile section in india
