Leaving aside note 2, s3 is still one of the best in terms of hardware. We will never know the magnitude of the sudden death problem because we do not know the actual number of people with this problem. I don't understand why people who choose to buy one device over another need to criticize the other to justify their choice.

u are wrong , no one is justifying their choice . we have one S3 failure in our forum itself just go back few pages .

u can understand the magnitude of sudden death when samsung has said about the update which will fix the issue

Torn up? Did they physically abuse your phone

Yes, 1st they replaced my Main board. So all kind of removal of parts and soldering was done. later when i came back at home i realized within 2 hours that mic and speaker is not working and Network Signals were behaving abnormal too. So, I resubmitted at Service Centre and this time they Replaced tha Entire Speaker chip.

Now its working fine but damage has already been done and No Samsung for me in Future.

Unfortunately I am the only one whose S3 got dead here on IBF, but when i visited service Centre i was surprised to see so many customers having S3 and Note 2 waiting for their turn. It seems to be some serious issue with these 2 new handsets of samsung.

Not exactly. I wasn't able to know why so many note 2 users were at service center each time I visited but I also saw one noob having Galaxy s duos was there just for APN settings. And another note 2 user was having issues with jelly bean update.

gave a like for saying No Samsung

i myself use a note and i like it overall , but phone feels cheap and by all means 34k is not cheap as per any standard
all plastic and cheap materials doesnt justify the price

S3 is a successful failure i suppose

My friend after purchasing his S3 few months back started saying bullsh**t about Apple products and their prices. After going to the service centre for 5 times and today for battery drain issues he says they have the best make and justify high prices.

I really don't feel 1080p is needed on a 5" device. They should concentrate more on things like battery which lasts longer?
