What is the meaning of a built quality for you?

Why you think samsung built quality is not good?

Note 2 or s 3 when fallen don't get serious damage even without cover, some scratches on the edges is expected though

will u accept only if the phone gets into 2 pieces :D

you should hold htc one v or Sony xperia go or sola , then u will know wats build quality

I saw a video where there was full of automated stuffs for testing phone , like button clicks , screen scratch test , bend test , touch screen test etc on youtube , if i am not wrong , it was for S3 , couldnt find the video though :(

found

삼성ì*„자 스마트폰을 금속으로 긁ê³*, ê¹”ê³* 앉은 실험 결과는?! - YouTube

mmm. all companies have automated testing. i remember some videos posted by google regarding one of their nexus models...

found!

As you said , gone are the days when big companies used to innovate (bluetooth by Sony and others) , now its all about integrating various technology into their devices.

mmm. they still innovate. it's just that mass producing technologies does not really work out that well with this model. Sony developed blu-ray for example as a recent example.

samsung is unlikely to launch Galaxy s 4 for another couple of months. Sony has a 2-3 month advantage with xperia z to capitalize from the situation and create a mark.

this strategy didn't work too well for LG while launching the first dual core and the first quad core smartphones

well. that's true. i hope Sony does not make a mess of this opportunity. they need to get this phone out to as many markets as soon as possible!also. LG has already made a mess of the massive opportunity they got with nexus 4. 2 months after launch they still have not got the supplies right. agreed, the phone is being sold at such a low price that the demand is high. but Apple manages to streamline demand and supply with their iPhones in weeks and that probably sell 10 times more units :D

I do agree that the build quality of Samsung is not as solid as that of HTC, having used both brands. I would say Motorola makes real solid phones, probably better than HTC. I would disagree on the fact that Samsung rolled out too many phones. I have lost count of the number of phones that HTC rolls out and it's variants. The much publicized desire has at least 7-8 different models named after it. Same with sensation. Xperia again has at least a dozen variants. Does that prove anything?

The last Motorola I used for the original Razr on Tata Indicom and god I loved that phone. A friend got the second generation RAZR on my suggestion and it turned into an expensive disaster for him. This is before the arrival of Android in the scene. Have not owned a Motorola Android device. Have not seen any around as well. :\ Most of my friends are still on Blackberry which is such a shame.
