masaladosa and rageaddict, I was only replying to warthog and others, because I thought they were by and large intelligent people who were victims of common misperceptions. Like some of them, I too think there is a lot in this world that people take for granted and we should question things a whole lot more. I too think that censorship, freedom of speech etc. are issues worth thinking and debating about. But it's my fault that I thought warthog was intelligent. He's only a closet (well out of the close now) bigot who hides under the guise of intelligence by essentially playing devil's advocate to everything. He's got issues with this world, and thrives on being the perpetual underdog however irrational and despicable his stand might be. For however free thinking he thinks he is, he is a sad sad prejudiced bigot and you are right, there is no point of attempting a rational discussion with him because he starts with "I am right" spews bullshit in the middle complete with dubious sources and incomprehensible sentences and ends with "I am right."

If anyone else wants to continue this debate in an intelligent and rational manner, more power to this thread, otherwise this thread serves no purpose except to give hatemongers a platform to spew their hate (in which case I vote we close this thread).
