The little I know about Dataone Broadband Services offered by BSNL
h t t p://mydataone.net/router/mt880.html
DHCP box should be in LAN page.
2.
The IP address for vonage is 192.168.15.1
To open router UserID router password router.
Do not try now.

3.Ensure internet works without Vonage unit.

.
5. Connect normal RJ45 ( ( black RJ45 if supplied to you )
from VONAGE to computer LAN.

Thanks a lot for the instructions. I was able to connect the Vonage adapter successfully. :thumb:

I have added a wireless router to my setup and now Vonage does not work :(Without the wireless router I had the following setupBSNL >> Vonage >> ComputerInternet and vonage were both working fine in this setupNow the setup is as belowBSNL >> PRONET >> Vonage & Computer (on LAN 1 and 2)I am unable to connect with both internet or Vonage with this setup. I get Error Code 008 on Vonage. Can someone guide me how to do the network connections for Wireless router correctly so that Internet and Vonage will both work? During my trial and error setup I have somehow lost PPPoE settings for my BSNL MT800 router. Should BSNL modem MT800 be setup for PPPoE (currently my connection type is RFC2684 Bridged) or should PRONET wireless router be PPPoE? What should be DHCP setting?

BSNL >> PRONET >> Vonage & Computer (on LAN 1 and 2)

Please see Post No 59 and 61. in this thread.
Always On PPPoE required.
Dhcp server as usual in modem 192.168.1.3 to say 192.168.1.20
(To access Vonage settings page . May not be required. )

Ensure computer connects to internet with pronet in LAN mode.
Then use the BLUE cable (4 wires only ) from modem to Vonage.
RJ45 (8 wires from Vonage port to computer )
Restart system.
mention model number/make for Pronet wifi router.
for wifi settings.i

I checked your earlier posts but I am confused as to how the sequence of connections for BSNL MT800, Vonage and Pronet router should be. Let me start from scratch. I have MT800 modem, Vonage VDV21-VD and Pronet PN-54WRT. Currently I just have MT800 connected to computer and internet works fine. I am using connection type PPPoE and DHCP enabled. Now I want to add Vonage unit and Pronet router to this setup. Should I connect MT800 >> Pronet >> Vonage and Computer (on LAN ports of PRONET)OR MT800 >> Vonage >> Pronet (on LAN port of Vonage) >> Computer (on LAN port of PRONET)

Currently I just have MT800 connected to computer and
internet works fine. I am using connection type PPPoE and DHCP enabled

MT800 >> Vonage >> Pronet (on LAN port of Vonage) >> Computer (on LAN port of PRONET
this is OK.
confirm Pronet 54WRT is not 3 in one ADSL modem +4portLan + wifi.

test 1 : Modem computer on lan OK
Test 2 Modem to vonage Phone works OK
Test 3 Vonage rj45 to computer lan OK
Test 4 transfer to Pronet (No 3.) rj45 to computer Ok

Feedback if needed:
ipconfig /all for computer desktop and laptop in wifi mode.
Vonage access 192.168.15.1 router PW router.
Usually if settings not disturbed will work.
Check Blue cable( 4 wires ) is connected to modem
Thick Dark cable ( 8 wires ) to computer laptop Pronet etc.

confirm Pronet 54WRT is not 3 in one ADSL modem +4portLan + wifi.
PRONET is not ADSL modem, it is just a wireless router.

test 1 : Modem computer on lan OK
MT800 >> computer : Internet works OK.

Test 2 Modem to vonage Phone works OK
Modem to Vonage does not work. I get error code 008 on Vonage unit.

Test 3 Vonage rj45 to computer lan OK
I can see the monitor symbol on Vonage unit but globe and phone does not appear. Internet does not work.
