Sify cheating the customer, again

how is this possible.even after shutting down the PC my session doesnot end.
i tried calling the CC but they said that its ur fault and plz change the pswd.

if u do not log out and shut down ur PC. ur session does not end automatically. dialer logs u on the sify's server. its different from the regular dialup.

yaa i understand , but the prob was i was not able logout. Even while logging i was getting the msg tht i had already logged in.In this situation how shud i logout.
and this sify people r telling that the prob is from my side .
how? i really cant understand this!!

and i shut down my PC bcoz i was not able to logged out so the only option remains is to shut down.

yaa i called them and they told me to change the pswd.
now its working fine but wat abt my one day .how it is lost.is it that someone else has logged in using my id by hawking my pswd.

Probably. Change your password and scan your computer for viruses and spyware. Sify's not going to do anything about that lost day however, it is clearly mentioned that it is the customers responsibility to protect the secrecy of his password.

u're not alone mate...most of the users having Sify are on the same boat... @juned...if u face the problem of unable to log out, just use Easy Sify...u can log in (if someone else is not already logged in) even if ur session is currently active...enjoy!!!
