Can we also clone MAC address from existing for it to work?
I had a spare Genexis ONT, cloned serial and was able to get stable PON but couldn't connect using it and local BSNL office is not ready to help or make any changes on their end.
@Rajneesh Rana I have not tested MAC address cloning, I don't see an option in the UI for it. You can clone the serial though. If PON is stable, you can definitely use another router with the ONT in bridge mode. Most routers allow you to clone the MAC.

Exact same issue with Genexis. On Alphion, it flat out doesn’t work and knocks out the entire OLT. My friend tried twice to get it working on Alphion OLT with this Huawei ONU Varkey is selling.
So if you have Genexis or Alphion, just don’t bother with Huawei ONUs. It won’t work.
I received the package yesterday. The device was carefully packed and I had no issues getting it to work. Using the superadmin credentials which @varkey provided I was able to configure the device in bridged mode with my WiFi router.
