That's sad. I dreamed of beating the global speed wave of 908 mbps, 229 mbps easily with Hayai Zone, atleast on upload.
I'm sure HNS are still hosting it, but even if they've for some reason stopped, it only costs about $500 for a license.

Mumbai server is now hosted by Vodafone India . What happened to HNS ? . Only Mr.mgcarley can answer .

Ookla people behind the speedtest.net sent us the following mail:
Speedtest.net recently received a Host Inquiry request from an existing licensed customer in your location. Because Speedtest.net is a free site, we rely on licensed customers of the Ookla Speed Test to stay up and running. Therefore, we prioritize any customers who purchase our licensed product to become hosts on Speedtest.net. Subsequent sponsors for the same city will be considered on an "as needed" basis and charges may apply. Some locations may qualify for discounts on our Speed Test software for your own website.
