Sources said the airline suspended the first officer and the pilot for an indefinite period. The pilot did not leave the cockpit himself, but as the officer in charge, he permitted the first officer to leave the cockpit to film the dancing.

I think the thing here is that both the pilots were out there enjoying by keeping the aeroplane in auto-pilot mode. I still don't find anything wrong in it but SpiceJet seems to be suspending them just to maintain their reputation and to showcase how strict they are about such stuff.

Finn air did it before the flight took off. Spicejet did it when the flight was in cruising. Big difference

you obviously cannot risk lives of a couple of hundred people just for the sake of some fun, it's ridiculous.........if you are thousands of feet in the air
