Yes. i too like English county and pura cup . it used to come before, but now due to lot of other things on espn and star they r not getting time.

My strongest recommendation for the people who are willing to go for DTH. You can go for DTH if you dont have cable operator, if your cable operator does not provide you proper variety of channels. Other dont go for DTH whether its Tata Sky or Dish TV. I am using TataSky but i recommend for the people if you are in CAS notifies areas please go for CAS and dont go for TataSky or Dish TV. Their USP is of interactive service thats good only for Actve Sports where you see highlights during the match if you have missed the action of century or fall of wickets.

I urge those people in Chennai, Bombay, Calcutta & Delhi go for CAS and not for TataSky or Dish. They suck us:wall:

Yes. i agree. If i had CAS i would have taken CAS, but hangon there r some problem with CAS too. It is not much different from cable though. even DTH looks same sometime. ony thing is for DTH we will get whole bouqet of channels added.

my cable guy just gives under 45channels and in that there will be FTA ones. he rarely gives espn and star sports channels and there was no ten sports until it joined Sony. Now last month there was notification given in newspaper that Espn star sports will be cutoff for my cable operator and now he dont provide it .

so tha tis why i opted to DTH 3 yrs ago and that angered him and he still have grudge over me:yahoo: . when Axn was banned here he removed Ftv :hysterical: . now he comes to me and asks about new channels etc.:rofl:
 
Dont get excited and move to cas without giving it a god time to think... Wait for a few days and then move to cas only if the channel is provided at rs.5... Also only if ur cable guy is very good at processing ur complaints...When i had cas my cable guy would only be seen during the month end to collect wat was due... He would take atleast a month or 10 complaints from me to subscribe or unsubscribe a particular channel...I hav now moved to tata but same problem wit no. of channels...So think over it before u take a decision guys!!!I agrre that if all of us do not pay the subscription then there is a possibility that our complaints will be processed...Wat say guys...:thumbsup:

well one thing is for sure. if u dont pay for Tata Sky subscribtion then there will no complaint from poeple as they wont have anything to watch . not even FTA channels like dishtv has from DD dth.
 
Absolutely right!! These guys hav already collected a hefty sum of money in the name of intial cost!! Now they will not care abt the customers and keep fooling them by maintaining some nonsense matter thro the customer care executives...If star cricket is on air for atleast a period of 6 months to an year then i will hav no regrets cos i dont hav to litrelly fight wit my cable operator for some channels even when i pay for it...One of my friend is unable to recieve the FTA channels on the STB, He complained atleast a 100 times... It's now a year since he had the problem and there is no body to respond... Fed up wit it he is now looking for options to move on to... I suggested him to wait for a month as sun dth will be there soon, look at a few options before picking anything...
 
But we cannot be sure that Sun DTH would be good. Anyway atleast there may be a chance that they may be better than TATA & Dish Tv.
 
u mean star cricket is running on dishtv.

who meant? no body here said that it is running on any DTH? what r u saying here.
 
I have both DishTV and Tata Sky so I can answer this question. TataSky is a joint ventue of Star,SKY,Foxtel and Tata group. So Tatasky will be the first person to air Star Cricket before July 19th and this is a sure news.I repeat TATASKY will launch star cricket on their platform before JULY 19th likely date being 17 - 18 th July. For DISHTV viewers good news for them too as star cricket will be launched on that platform before July 19th as welll. So happy viewing for TATASKY and DISHTV and for me owning both platforms simultaneously
