Hi Guys,I want my computer connected to the SL2_141 modem to receive a fixed IP address from the modem. Is it possible to create a fixed IP address for a given Mac address in the configuration of the SL2_141 modem? Thanks

NO.
usually you can enter 192.168.1.X( *any number say 10 to 250)
in TCP/IP properties.
Disable DHCP in modem ( Modem gateway usually 192.168.1.1)

We are allotted Dynamic IP address by BSNL. different to above.
Check in Diagnostics page two different IP's. are shown .

If you need a static IP always from BSNL , you should select some Business plan.

if you intend to use your modem as a WEB server try the DDNS
setting in your modem, if available.
