So it seems that static ip is no the issue. If i connect with ethernet cable then i get 650mbps speed both down and up. Its the TP-Link ax router which is having crap wifi. Changed several settings but speed on wifi does not go beyond 300mbps.
Why TF do people think WiFi (meh!) is a standard for speed??
It's not! Wired LAN is. Wifi is only there for convenience and mobility within a fixed range and 'n' number of caveats. You want stable, reliable connectivity and the best possible transfer speeds just check with cable.
@albonycal i get wifi link speed of 1.2 gbps on wifi 6 client. Still internet speed remains 200-300 mbps. There is no connection interference in my locality as tested with wifi analyzer.
