yes, its region specific, one guy reported they have removed 1gig bug in noida.

Ok, so just a few days more and I couldn't wait to scratch the itch. Called up AB customer care and placed a request for the static IP. Now let's see. I received a SMS about this and it shas been assigned to an tech. According to them it should be done in 1 day. Seeing is believing.
