Sudden reduction in MTNL speed (Mumbai - Ghatkopar)

Hello friends,Currently I am using plan 849NU. (Mumbai - Ghatkopar)Suddenly from 2 days there has been a sudden reduction in the speed. Previously while conducting mtnl triband speedtest from there site it use to show me around 1.8 mbps connection speed.But, from last 2 days while conducting the same test it shows me result of 1.0 mbps only. I don't know why there has been sudden reduction in speed from their end.or is there technical glitch from my end (my PC or router). :huh:Kindly help me out.

dont trust sped tests, they can be misleading at times.download a file from a very fast server. that would help you to know your download speed better.

try downloading a file from Microsoft and see weather u r getting 1.8mbps or not...

Uchit, my speed tests results are proper. 1.7-1.8 mbps...!!Though, cant say, our exchanges are different.

Do you fall under Powai exchange by any chance? I stay in Vikhroli and I had a similar problem about around 8 days back. But right now, the speeds are quite good. I get 190Kbps on torrents.

No, I don't fall under powai exchange.I am under maniklal exchange.Hey ...... by the way guys.I conducted one test today and yesterday.It shows me 1.8 mbps (around that).back to normal.Thanks for ur prompt reply.
