Super Saver Package costs Rs.305.66/- instead of Rs.300/- p.m ??

Hi,

following text(copied from my Tata Sky monthly statement) shows that super saver package charges per month are Rs.305.66/- instead of advertised Rs.300/-

5641002Subscription Charges305.66SSP - Promo Component(01/07/07 - 31/07/07) @ Rs.9.86 per day 01/08/2007 05:48:19AM

is it an error or this is how Tata Sky charges for everyone?

looks like they are calculating as Rs.9.56 X 31 days = 305.66

but they are advertising that it costs Rs.300/- p.m (Tata Sky Packages, Tata Sky Channels). But, as usual fineprint reads "Tata Sky reserves the right to add or drop a channel/ service from any package and/or change the package rates"

Mr. Reddy. Yes indeed they are showing in the packages that Super Save is of Rs. 300. Normally every one calculates 1 month = 30 days. Since they have calculated for July you came to know that for 31 days they are charging 305.
The bottom line is that TataSky charges you Rs 9.86/day.

Is it that Offlate they have realised that 1 month = 30 days.....

if the bottom line was 9.86/day then thier advt shud go as
30 days/month=Rs 300
31 Days/month=Rs 305
28 Days/month=Rs 276

Wud they do that...?????

Bottom Line.
Tatasky is Cheating customers...

If you calculate 12 months, 12*300=3600.And for 365 days, 365*9.86=3599.

Mr. Deepu, What do you say on Mr. vgpal's calculation :hysterical:. Does that mean we are cheating Tata Sky . I was just kidding, here no one is cheating any body. Its a silly thing to discuss it further unless we have a query or problem.

That means they dont have any fixed pay package forb 31 days it is Rs.305, for 30 days it is Rs300 and for 28 days (feb) its also Rs.300.......but i suppose its not there in dish tv as they have uniform pay structure Rs.300/month whether it is of 31,30, 28 Days. and i think that's uniform pay package Sound's more logical.

Tata Sky do have a unifrom rate if you look on to the bill u will know cleary whats the package rate i.e., Rs. 9.86/day

I am ready to pay extra 1 Rupee if calculated for a year, but paying 5 rupees extra every odd month is not OK...

Still if we pay Lumpsum for year is there any discount :thumbsup:

For RC of Rs 2500, the bonus is Rs 200 and for RC of Rs 5000, the bonus is Rs 500.

just checked the feb month statment... its like this ...01-Mar-07 Subs Fee Super Saver Pack for the period (01-Feb-07 to 28-Feb-07) @ Rs 9.86 per day 276.08So i think they did charged 276 only for 28 days ....
