Tata Sky DTH: Suggestions and complaints here

Hi,

I had ordered a Tata Sky connection for my brother Rajesh Singh in December 2007 on phone. The number I used was 0206601112. Post that I cancelled the connection in first week of January knowing that he already has purchased one. The amount has not been refunded to me yet. I had paid Rs. 4000 through credit card. I have been calling Tatasky regularly since past 3 months, but it has been of no use. They have been telling me, that my request has been forwarded to appropriate department and someone will get back to me. Please help. You can reach me at [email protected]. Nepakshi , the installation charges are 1000 Rs. The 1000 Rs recharge voucher which comes with the connection is actually the installation charges which we are required to pay. For the packages , you are required to recharge separately according to your preferences. Please be more specific and list the details about the total amount you have paid for the TS connection till now.As for the Taatsky CC , i have never ever encountered any problem and have always been able to get through to some support executive without a fuss. Though i must add that i always call them through my MTNL landline.
 
You got a new connection in march , so i assume you have paid 1500 Rs (stb) + 1000Rs (installation) = 2500 Rs in total.

You were then again asked to do a recharge of 500 Rs. Super saver pack costs 300 Rs and TS added the sports gold package (199 Rs) without your consent. This explains the no balance in your account (300 + 199 = 499 Rs). However you got the sports gold package dropped so TS should be adding 199 Rs back to your account but have not done so.

Call TS customer care and ask them to credit your account with 199RS as you are not opting for the sports gold pack.

You can also change your package online by registering in the " My Tata Sky " section on DTH – Tata Sky DTH in India, Leading Satellite Television Provider in India, DTH service by Tata Sky .
 
hi guys! what u think about Tata Sky audio quality, are u satisfied with its audio quality, what u feel about the clarity of its audio do u think its upto the mark.. is it crystal clear or do u guys experince some some porr audio ...

I would like the authorities to change the unfair "Terms and Conditions" in the in the "Hardware" and regarding the " transferring of ownership of the "Satellite Dish", "LNB", "Cable" and "Digicard" to the customer" rather than reserving these rights with Tata Sky. It is very clear that the set-top box by itself is of no use without the dish. I am yet to hear something worthwhile from TATA SKY regarding this.


I earnestly request you to consider my requests. I switched to TATA Sky (from DishTV) in the firm belief that this product from TATA group would be respecting the rights and freedom of the customer rather than the fundamentally unfair and cleverly restrictive ways in which everything in the service is now designed. Please do not let us feel betrayed by you. Expecting a reply from a TATA Sky executive at the earliest.
