no way for them to add new channels without shifting their current format MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 till then they will remove a channel and comment that its unpopular channel and add a new channel in that space:wall:
^ That they have exhausted their capacity is a known fact. I was just suprised how those morons could say point blank that they won't be able to do anything. In any case, Tata Sky doesn't care about us 'lower' pyramid people. I wonder if I am lower pyramid though
I don't think they have completed their capacity to add more channels. There is no proof of this.
Yes.. they are the only company who said they do not want more customers./
Not totally correct. Tata Sky DTH wants specific customers. Tata Sky would be focussing on providing value for money for customers who were either at the top or the middle of the pyramid.
Yes.. when they say we can exchange the STB for Tata Sky + why can not they say for a normal MPEG 4 STB.... this should happen.
What should happen?
Replacing 3.5 Million of MPEG-2 STB's for MPEG-4 STB? It is just impossible and highly costly for TATASKY.
TATASKY+ STB's are MPEG-4 compatible, means STB's can receive MPEG-4 signals, but TATASKY would continue to transmit in MPEG-2 only.
