I have TS+ and eagerly waiting for HD, but I can wait for sometime if TS HD is providing only 2 channels as of now.

Me too buddy no point spending 2600 now to spend 7500 again in two months....stupid TS people/Vikram Kaushik/ Vikram Mehra etc could not launch TS+HD right away when Big TV is doing so for 7500 (Though with BIG Problems too as on the Big TV section of this forum).....We expect TS to treat there customers who spent 6 grands on the TS+ device to be treated a little better when they launched TS HD

Because it is a failed model in India...Out of there 5 Million or so customers only .2 million are using TS+....not even 5% ..whereas internationally this figure is 50%..
Thats because abroad most DTH operators sell only PVR based boxes :
Sky Boxes - Sky Digital TV Boxes & Equipment - Buy Online

You can either buy Sky+ or Sky+HD

This is how it should be .

No, this is very good and excellent move by Tata Sky, Then only people like me will go to TS HD, I will buy TS HD for just Rs.2600/-, but i will not go to TS for Rs. 7500/- etc etc. So this is really a nice move and all people will go to TS HD. :ohyea:

One doubt! Suppose if TS+ HD is launched, the recorded programs would still be in SD isnt it? I mean if we record a HD broadcast we would be able to see the recorded program only in SD quality isnt it?
