Well they have right to close their service. Who said Dish Tv user wouldn't able to watch FTA channels of DD direct+ and some Zee channels. My friend have new STB from March and he enjoyed channels since June. He didn't pay money to Dish TV since May and last 3 months he gets all DD channels and also 2 active services of Dish TV which FTA,

This suggests that they do not hav a good encoding technology otherwise u shd not be able to recieve these signals... Ask ur friend about the clarity of these channels..:redface:

i called up cc again yesterday night and asked them that i wanted to go for a new connection but only after they start showing sun tv. The cc representative replied it will be shown anytime it could be as early as tomorrow also, as we have got into an agreement with sun to show 15 of their channels. He urged me to order immediately through Credit Card but i refused stating i need a firm commitment on the date of telecast.

Prasar Bharti DTH does not have encryted channels so i guess that is a reason why he was able to get those channels.

well if this is the case i guess v shd be able to recieve some dd channels if v tilt the dish towards insat4A..
If it works then i will get a new dish to get these channels... Then again life will be jhingalala..
